> I was selected amongst other advanced-degree candidates to attend this workshop at the BCG NYC office. > I had the opportunity to experience a consulting project led by a BCG consultant. I participated in realistic case experiences while learning from BCG's thought leaders.

> Elucidated the genetic, molecular and cellular causes of types of human neuronal migration disorders associated with severe intellectual disability and intractable epilepsy. > Uncovered unknown genetics causes of a devastating disorder> Work highlighted the need for an assortment of tubulin isotypes, as such variety is essential to the normal migration and differentiation of developing neurons.> Published seven (two first author) primary research papers, one review and one book chapter in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Genetics, Human Molecular Genetics and Trends in Genetics.> Ph.D. work was cited over 580 times.> Received a Young Investigator Award from the Bettencourt-Schueller Foundation (Paris, France)
