With over four years of experience in asset protection and security, I am currently the Executive Team Lead of Asset Protection at Target. In this role, I oversee the safety and security of the store, guests, and team members, as well as the operational excellence and financial performance of the asset protection department. I partner with the store leadership team to implement and execute strategies that prevent theft, fraud, and shrinkage, and enhance the guest experience and team engagement. I also identify and develop talent, and coach and mentor the asset protection specialists and security specialists in my team. Some of the skills that I use and improve in my role are problem solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership. I am passionate about asset protection and security, and I am motivated by the mission of Target to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. I enjoy working in a diverse and inclusive environment, where I can bring my own perspectives and experiences, and learn from others. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and excel in my field.
