Developed and maintained relationships between businesses, entrepreneurs, and the local community colleges to develop regional talent that leads to living-wage careers and reduces equity gaps for our local community college students. Major projects included: - Regional Faculty Development Initiative- in partnership with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), we implemented a regional professional development program to teach the best equity-driven practices to be a more effective online instructor. - Bay Region Cannabis Workforce and Education Initiative- managed and executed a 24-month grant to normalize the legal cannabis industry and inspire college faculty to develop curricula for the industry's workforce needs. In 2018, I completed the Online Special Expertise Certificate through the Distance Education Department. In the summer of 2017, I attended the ASCCC's Summer Part-Time Faculty Leadership Institute and the Online Teaching Conference which focused on innovative pedagogy, online learning and teaching, professional development and leadership.
