I am a driven and passionate Ph.D. candidate in Technological Management at Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN) in Quito, Ecuador, with a strong background in business administration and sustainability. My research focuses on the critical issue of food loss and waste (FLW) within food systems, exploring its environmental, social, and economic impacts. I am particularly interested in understanding the role of societal metabolism and the water-energy-food nexus (Nexus WEF) in promoting sustainable food systems and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Ecuador.Currently, I am actively involved in a multidisciplinary research projects at EPN that investigates the Nexus WEF within the framework of social metabolism. This project aims to provide valuable insights and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for reducing FLW and promoting resource efficiency in Ecuador.I hold a Business Administration degree from Universidad Central del Ecuador and an MBA. I am eager to connect with researchers, professionals, and organizations working in the fields of sustainability, food systems, circular economy, and sustainable development.
