Profile bio

About Xavier Roberts, Mpp

I focused the last 5 years on addressing the root causes of what I call "upstream education issues". Poverty and its symptoms -- food insecurity, homelessness, and health disparities -- contribute to the educational inequities I witnessed while teaching in public schools for four years. Since leaving teaching, I have worked in community development and public policy roles with the aim of creating shared prosperity and rectifying systemic injustices. I am passionate about inclusive and sustainable economic development, food justice, racial equity, community wealth-building strategies, voting rights and access, regenerative agriculture, and compassionate and smart policymaking. For my professional life, I seek opportunities that maximize my capacity to serve.

Listed skills include Politics, Elementary Education, Writing, Social Media, and 31 others.
