Xavier is an engineer in biodiversity conservation, restoration and management. He worked for 20 years as project manager in different Nature Conservation NGO in France. He coordinated several European conservation programme (Life) in the south of France to manage and restore populations of endangered species and to restore degraded natural and critical habitats, especially on coastal wetlands and Mediterranean forests. Otherwise, he was the manager of a wetland coastal reserve and he know well governance and administrative management of Protected Areas.Since 2011, Xavier joined Biotope to developed conservation programmes in Africa and in Asia. He worked in several country as Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Congo, Tunisia to conduct ESIA, Species monitoring programme, Protected Area management plan. Since 2014, he worked mainly in China and he leads the two first biodiversity conservation programme financed by AFD in the Liaoning Province. He works with a lot of local governments in China to provide advice to build new protected areas as National Park, World Heritage Site, Man and Biosphere Site, Ramsar Site.
