I'm a Sophomore at Louisiana Tech University, starting to look for internships that could turn into potential job opportunities after graduation. Specifically in the automotive and machine design industry. As a Mechanical Engineering major, I have a passion for the machines and equipment that allow us to live the lives awe have been afforded in our constantly changing society. I want to know what we need to do to solve problems in the everyday world while making the solutions easily accessible to everyday people.It is for this reason that I originally chose to attend such a prestigious engineering school like Louisiana Tech. I truly believe the curriculum has prepared me greatly for the engineering and design industry. Courses within the freshman engineering program have introduced me to SolidWorks, Excel, and robot program sketching. It is because of this that I know I would be an asset to any company in the industry.
