I've always been motivated by challenges that require dedication and hard work. There’s a sense of accomplishment in putting in the time and seeing results come to life. This mindset shapes both my personal and professional life. I’m detail-oriented and open-minded, with a wide range of hobbies. Two personal achievements I’m proud of are running a five-minute mile and landing my first kickflip—both came through persistence, learning, and embracing the ups and downs. This drive led me to the ever-evolving field of Computer Science. I double-majored in Computer Science and Mathematics at Linfield College, where I received the Outstanding Senior in Computer Science award. I was fortunate to land an internship straight out of college at Buildable, where I’ve grown with the company. From a small team of 10 in a tight office to over 30 in a new space, I’ve progressed from a junior developer to Software Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to work with incredible people and clients. At Buildable, we aim to deliver custom software while supporting our people. I work closely with clients to solve real problems and see the positive impact our solutions have. I’m always striving to be a better leader and engineer, and I encourage my team to do the same. I enjoy getting to know my team, whether through icebreakers or social events, and seeing them grow. Solving problems together is more fulfilling, and I appreciate the close-knit environment of a smaller company. Whatever I’m working on, I approach it with a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
