After finishing my BA degree at ESADE and after a one-year internship at Unysis, Philadelphia (1989), I joined Gallina Blanca as a International project manager in a newly created department, Expansión Europa. Together with my experienced boss, we managed to open a lucrative business in a dozen EU countries of 6 M euros from scratch. Together with my experienced boss, we managed to open a lucrative business in a dozen EU countries of 6 M euros from scratch. In 1994 I became Area Manager for Eastern Europe, managing a decent Marketing budget that made me the right candidate to assume the direction of the growing business in Ukraine. I moved to Kiev in January 1997 as General Director where from a scenario of 4 M € revenues and a team of 4 people became, after 6 years, to 14 M€ with a built factory and a team of 300 people. I did manage to adapt to a complex scenario that happen to be ones of best years of my life, since I also built a family.After this period and after a few months in Barcelona (where I did the PDG program at IESE) I did take the direction of Russian Federation business, Moscow based. A difficult internal and market environment and a change in management at the head office in Spain forced my return at the beginning of 2005, a change that I took with enthusiasm and eagerness, accepting new challenges as director of New Businesses in the business unit of Africa (2005 -2007) During the Moscow years the idea of Beamalevich was fertilized, which developed during my return to Barcelona.
