● Directs and oversees multi-year strategic planning, multi-modal authentic engagement initiativesand a wide range of special projects with senior leadership, interagency and community partners,leaders and internal and external stakeholders● Leads special projects for the division on behalf of the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor,including interfaith affairs, formal partnership with local Divine Nine organization and chapters,and mayoral initiatives in consultation with City Hall and other interagency collaborations● Serves as chief advisor and liaison for New York City Public Schools for the Panel forEducational Policy (PEP), governing school board for the largest city school district in thecountry● Oversee the work of the Panel for Educational Policy, including their responsibilities forapproving educational policies proposed by the Chancellor, Department’s budget, school capitalplan, contracts, labor agreements and proposals for changes in school utilization

Plan a monthly skills-based workshop to develop skills based on time management, study environments, agenda planning, conflict resolution and academic resource development along with spaces for students to present research. Plan matriculation ceremony for students who transition from pre-college to the early college program, and for college students who transfer to their next four-year institutionsWork with students on action plans, individual student and parent check-ins, Bard informative newsletters and academic interventions to enhance academic and overall growth Enforce student behavior and discipline as given by Bard College’s Code of Conduct Teach pre-college or college courses comprised of students who have applied to enroll in the course based on a topic of interest to further prepare students for the academic rigor of college-level work outside of their core classes. Teach college advisory to prepare students for matriculation to their next undergraduate institutions Plan events that tie to the greater Bard network (Hannah Arendt Conference, Bard College at Simon’s Rock College Trip, 9th Grade Retreat, partnerships with Harlem Children’s Zone Centers) Advisor to the Bard Leadership Student Committee Serve as Admissions Coordinator to admit a new cohort of students in the Bard program yearly Coordinating Peer Tutoring, Bard Reading Mentors and responsible for the implementation of The Academic Resource Period (ARP) to give students additional academic support. Consult with and serve as a resource for students, guardians, parents, and teachers regarding the developmental needs of studentsMaintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulationsWork along with the guidance department, student support and college team to ensure overall academic and student success
