I am the bioMérieux representative at the LOINC Laboratory Committee where I actively contribute.I serve an industry subject matter expert at LOINC Meetings to help foster the adoption of LOINC to aid in semantic laboratory data interoperability.This activity implies travels to LOINC site (Indianapolis, USA) and locations where the LOINC conference takes place.

Under the responsibility of the Senior Manager Biomathematics & Knowledge Engineering Europe and latter the Data Science Manager, I lead a transversal team responsible for the laboratory data semantic interoperability.I am acknowledgeable to- Share the Global R&D Interoperability Steering Committee- Contribute to systems interoperability road map definition in tight interaction with the GlobalMarketing- Manage implementation of above defined road map / semantic part : LOINC & SNOMED CT code mapping (coach the persons involved & interface with development program), mappings publications, uptake by R&D MDM and production of deliverables for commercial products- Network with national and international experts, understand global trends supporting primary secondary uses of medical data. I participate to * French Digital Health agencies : contributed to the Interop’Santé interoperability publication guidances * I was one of the industry LOINC expert invited by the FDA to the Public Workshops on “Promoting Semantic Interoperability of Laboratory Data” in 2015 & 2016 * US - FDA & MDIC - SHIELD "IVD Semantic Interoperability Working Group" * “LOINC for In Vitro Diagnostic” standard publication by the In vitro Industry Connectivity Consortium * CLSI AUTO17 “Semantic Interoperability”- Document Development Committee * MedTech – Europe- Set-up and manage collaborations with LOINC & SNOMED CT Standard Development Organizations- Co-supervise a PhD and a several long duration sandwich internships- co-supervise feasibility activities in the European program Value-Dx on the secondary use of medical data (aka. Innovation & Systems Development Department

Under the responsibility of the Senior Manager Biomathematics & Knowledge Engineering Europe, I led a team (~ 10 persons) transversal to several group in Europe and the USA responsible for system knowledge bases processes and creation ; R&D Master Data Management ; semantic interoperability of in vitro diagnostic systems.I was acknowledgeable and responsible to- Manage and chair of the Global R&D Knowledge Engineering Steering Committees- Lead a transversal R&D Knowledge Engineering and R&D Master Data Management Team- Define and manage projects leading to knowledge bases and R&D Master Data Management tools delivery ; semantic interoperability of IVD systems- Define yearly budget Knowledge Engineering to be endorsed by development programs- Give inputs for the performance management of people involved in Knowledge Engineering & R&D MDMI got involved in the department effort to established knowledge engineering as a needed asset and group to be set-up.I initiated bioMérieux’s activities in laboratories data semantic interoperabilityThese activities included frequent travel on other locations in Lyon & La Balme les Grottes, bioMérieux site in Saint Louis (USA).

Information Technologies Departement

Under the responsibility of the Knowledge Engineering Manager, I did coordinate a group of 10 bioMath, bioInformatician and software developers involved in in vitro diagnostic molecular assays developmentsI was acknowledgeable for* daily team management & empowerment in project teams* priority arbitration in line with departments and corporate ones* yearly budget definition input for development programsI did represent the System Development Department into two product development programs; one shared with our team in Netherland.These activities included frequent travel on other locations in Lyon & La Balme les GrottesFollowing external growth of bioMérieux in the Netherland I was deeply involved in knowledge and activities transfer from Netherland to France, thus involving daily activities with our Dutch colleagues and frequent stay the Netherlands. This implied supervision of all Knowledge Engineering activity sharing across France & DutchlandI got involved in several due diligences; thus implying travel abroad.

This position just followed my master degree in Information Technology and the internship position I had in that same R&D department at bioMérieux.Under the responsibility of the Knowledge Engineering Manager, I developed custom high density DNA micro-array (i.e. Affimetrix DNA chip) and related analysis knowledge bases. Those were used to research purposes as well as development purposes. Development activities were part of in vitro diagnostic products launches.Following external growth of bioMérieux in the Netherland I was involved in knowledge and activities transfer from Netherland to France, thus involving daily activities with our Dutch colleagues and frequent stay the Netherlands.

Plant Molecular Physiology and Biochemistry Laboratory---Under the supervision of the lab director, I was a postdoctoral research fellow on the “nitrate and ammonium uptake in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana (expression of ion flux transporters) according to nutritional constraints, photosynthetic activity and carbon metabolism”I managed plant growth conditions (phytotron), all molecual biology activities (RNA extraction and gene expression analysis), contribute to biochemistry investigations.
