He studied piano, composition and conducting at the Conservatories of Liceo, Barcelona and Viena with Margarita Serrat, Salvador Pueyo, Albert Argudo, Reinhard Schwarz and Georg Mark. He also graduated at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona being awarded by his final project on computer assisted piano tuning. He has studied or collaborated with musicians such as Joan Albert Amargós, Ovidiu Balan, Edmon Colomer, Joan Guinjoan, Robert Gutter, Lou Harrison, Laszlo Heltay, Manuel Hernández Silva, Diego Masson, Collin Metters, Salvador Mas, Josep Pons, Manel Valdivieso and Antoni Ros Marbà. He has conducted ensembles such as the Granada Symphony Orchestra, The Córdoba Symphony Orchestra, the Ibiza Symphony Orchestra, the Elche Symphony Orchestra, the Arts Symphony Orchestra of Culiacán, the Orchestra of Catalogne, the Filarmonica Mihail Jora Bacau and the Thüringen Philharmonic.He is currently the musical director of the Barcelona Modern Ensemble with wich he has performed at some of the main contemporary music cycles of Spain and worked with composers such as Benet Casablancas, Raphaël Cendo, Philippe Hurel, José Manuel López López and Alberto Posadas. He has been awarded at the Josep Mirabent i Magrans Competition, the Andrés Gaos Composition Prize, the International Composition Competition 'City of Tarragona', the Oare String Orchestra Composing Competition and as a finalist at the Conducting Competition of the Córdoba Orchestra. Since 2015 he is professor at the Conservatory of Liceu in Barcelona.
