After completing my summer role as Fine Art Student Assistant at CIBC, I was asked to stay on a part-time basis to continue my work with the collection. I am continuing to assist with the upcoming move, as well as improving collection documentation through inventory and database work.

In my role as Fine Art Assistant as part of the People, Brand, and Culture sector of CIBC Toronto, I am taking part in a large-scale cataloguing project of artworks in storage to prepare for their upcoming transport. I was a scribe and research assistant for a PhD student at Queen's University, who primarily works within the sphere of popular culture and media studies. My duties included assisting with grading assignments, transcribing documents and communications, aiding in research proposal development, and ensuring equitable access to educational resources.

In my role as Gallery Assistant, I took photographs of incoming pieces for sale and updated the gallery's website to reflect current exhibitions. This hybrid position challenged my digital communication skills, as well as developed my interest in museum record-keeping.

As Dr. Rebecca Worsham's research assistant, I aided in the recataloguing and reaccessioning of the Van Buren Antiquities Collection at Smith College. I researched each object and then populated a collections database, ensuring that the information myself and my fellow research assistants created is available for the future.

As a Circulation Assistant at Smith College's Hillyer Art Library, I performed a variety of tasks that connected students and staff with art resources on campus. I worked with students and professors to aid them in finding materials relevant to their classes, as well as connected them with other staff that could answer their questions. For the Fall 2022 semester, I was a notetaker for students with learning accommodations for two of my classes. This role strengthened my ability to convey information to others and kept my organizational skills sharp.

I was a Research Assistant at Amherst College's Archives and Special Collections, specifically the Kim-Wait/Eisenberg Native American Literature Collection. My duties included helping prepare for the upcoming BOUNDLESS exhibition curated by Heid Erdrich on Native American artists and writers at the Mead Museum, taking photographs of objects, and researching items in the collection.

This project involved research with the Ingalls Library; cross-referencing artwork files with exhibition catalogues and Trustees' Minutes; and becoming familiar with proper archival and digitization practices. As a summer project I guest-curated a selection of Japanese woodblock prints from the collection of a local gallery. I researched the artists and medium, then worked closely with the curator and owner to present a well-informed and aesthetically pleasing show to my peers and patrons of the gallery.
