As the Senior Research Analyst, I strive to understand the products in the market, connecting with the ones suitable for our business and maintaining those professional relationships. Whilst my specialty was in risk (Life Insurance) in the context of personal financial advice, my purview was broadened by the needs of the business including wealth accumulation (superannuation and investments) and retirement planning.Some of my duties included:- the management of our Approved Product List, including Research Committee submissions and recommendations;- product specialist tasks such as research, analysis and comparisons;- responding to adviser requests for assistance relating to investment and insurance solutions for clients;- supporting the broader business and providing assistance to internal adviser support teams, including operations, compliance, and advice delivery;- producing research related communications and presentation.
