Darren Kerr is the Head of the Bath School of Art, Film and Media at Bath Spa University, UK and Associate Professor. He has extensive experience working in senior academic roles, leading and managing academic schools/departments for over a decade. Passionate about working with arts and cultural organisations, he has collaborated with a variety of partners to leverage the opportunities that universities can bring to their region and beyond. In his academic research he has published work on sex on screen, is director of Screening Sex (screeningsex.com), leads the BAFTSS scholarly interest group on the topic and is series editor for Edinburgh University Press's new Screening Sex book series, which will launch with two volumes on The Sex Scene (2025).
