Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK) is a bi-annual exhibition of national and international fashion designers founded by the BKStyle Foundation (BKStyle), a 501c(3) non-profit organization. My scope as the art director, is to address and maintain a cohesive overall branding that is applied through materials used within various aspects of the organization and show. Much of the design process involves exercising creative judgment and problem-solving within a team environment.

Worked with the design team on book covers and interior layouts for all ages, including picture books, illustrated and non-illustrated novels, and non-fiction with both the Kids team and the Adult team.• Shadowed designers on new cover projects. • Help with image research, typographic explorations, and concept generation• Researched illustrators for new projects & preparing contact sheets of samples• Reviewed 4-color proofs from the printer• Attended Design, Production, and Editorial meetings for insight on the creative process, day-to-day scheduling concerns, and what editors are looking for in new projects

Design and Illustration Intern for BLACK Design, provided illustration on projects including SG50 branding illustration, Herman Miller, Creative Cities exhibition in Pier 2 Kaohsiung, Noise Singapore amongst others.
