Product: Lync Web Access(Mac Audio) Dev Lead 2011/8-2012/11Introduction: - Lync is a unified communication product based on VoIP technology, it provides IM, presence, File Transfer, Audio/Video conference, App sharing features. - Mainly using C++ and OC language, XCode IDE.Responsibility: - In charge of porting Lync media to Mac OS, including audio pipeline, proxy authentication and other system related component.Achievements:- Mac Lync media get better audio quality than Windows，tuning real time thread policy, tuning timestamp accuracy，As a result, get 150ms low latency, get better echo cancellation result.Product: Lync Virtual Whiteboard Dev Lead 2012/6-2012/10 Introduction: - Lync Virtual whiteboard is an innovative project initiated 2012 summer, it defines voice control and gesture control to support body control in conference scenario with Kinect.- Hybrid programming, using C# WPF for UI, using C++, open CV and Kinect API for voice and gesture recognizer.Responsibility: - Lead a small team to implement virtual whiteboard, majorly in coaching people, delivering plan, contributing on design review, tracking schedule, and motivating people.Achievements:- Get the first e2e cool virtual whiteboard version after 3 months’ development.

Product: Message Analyzer Software Development Engineer 2 2010/12-2011/8Introduction: - Message Analyzer aims to support protocol design, network traffic capture, protocol validation and automatic documentation generation.- It defines OPN language to describe protocol messages, operations, endpoints, and actors, Responsibility:- Lead 2 people to design and implement OPN simulation to identify protocol design issue, propose different design alternatives with pros and cons, and drive to choose the optimal solution based on prototype testing result.- Drive discussion with PM/Dev/Test.Achievements:- Promote to next level based on my proven capability to deliver new features quickly.- Get positive feedback from senior leadership team.Product: Spec Explorer Software Development Engineer 2007/4-2010/4Product: - It models system under test (SUT) from high level, abstract SUT to state machine and automatically generates test suite, it’s widely used to test Windows/Office/SQL protocols inside Microsoft.- It supports C# language to define state machine and Cord Script language to customize testing scenarios.Responsibility: - One of the two key stakeholders in our product, responsible for abstract state machine, XRT, parameter generation key modules design and development.- From year 2010, leading 2-5 interns/vendors, work on sprint planning, feature discussion, feature design, feature implementation, vendor management, schedule track, customer support, customer support dispatch, FTE/intern interview.Achievements: - Becomes subject master on MBT area.- One of the authors of published paper Parameter Generation.- Spec Explorer is released as Visual Studio Power Tools.
