About Xiaochen Xu

Xiaochen Xu received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Acoustics from the Nanjing University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2007. Then he joined the Medical Business Unit at Texas Instruments. He led the definition and development of analog ICs, including ultrasound analog front end, high voltage transmitter, multi-channel high speed data converters and low noise amplifiers. His research interests include ultrasound system design, integrated circuit definition and development, system-on-chip design and integration, and transducer design and applications. Dr. Xu is an IEEE Senior Member. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 papers and has 4 awarded US patents.
