The goal of HTCR-Services GmbH (Human Tissue and Cell Research-Services GmbH) is to make human tissues broadly available to medical research in both industry and academic. As a Scientific Business Manager, my responsiblities are: -Develop and manage scientific projects with clients in academic and industry.-Process a broad range of human tissues (diseased and normal tissues from the same donor) and other biospecimens. The tissue processing includes sectioning (cryoblocks and FFPE tissue blocks), tissue staining, RNA extraction, cDNA production and protein isolation. -Produce human primary cells from tissues and blood, such as hepatacytes, PBMCs, neutrophil etc-Manage quality control of our human tissue and blood based products before delivery to our clients.-Conduct biomaker and drug discovery projects in corporation with pharmaceutical companies.
