My role is making connections between NZ and China, China market researching, sharing China market information and government policies to the board, discovering trades opportunities, connecting Chinese enterprises to FANZ, marketing NZ FMCG products to potential importers in China, seeking solutions to any China market related discussions and sourcing FMCG from NZ for China market.

Overseeing and managing large-scale residential greenfield development project in Sunnyheights Rd, Orewa. It is an NZD$500 million worth, 43 hectares in area and 550+ dwellings project. Land acquisition: lead land acquisition and negotiation with Masfen Group and surrounding neighbours. OIA process: lead legal teams from DLA Piper to work closely with OIO for OIA approval. RC process: lead secondments and engineer teams from AECOM, BECA, and TT to work closely for urban design, detailed design, engineering design, the Resource Consent and Building Consent process. INZ approved Acceptable Investments: lead third party consulting and legal teams to work closely with Immigration New Zealand to approve “Acceptable Investments” to attract high net worth new immigrants who intend to invest in the New Zealand residential developments industry. Public relationship: liaison with the city council, iwi group and local board for RC process. Maintain good relationships with other contractors, local authorities/associations, and banks. Establish and maintain a relationship with other residential developers, investors and high net worth individuals. Business negotiation: negotiate with agents/vendors for land/property acquisition, negotiate with major consulting companies for job quotations, negotiate with major infrastructure and earthwork companies for tender process, negotiate with major banks for development funding. Leadership and management: lead teams to achieve the predetermined target set by the parent company in a specified period. Lead TT/AECOM/BECA consulting teams for engineering design works and RC application process. Lead and manage tender process.
