Created the post-investment management function for Club Med, Fosun’s 1st overseas investment. Originate and execute deals (M&A and operational partnership) for Fosun Tourism Group. Successfully led the Fosun Tourism Group IPO process in France. Represent Fosun Group in France and maintain government and public relations.

I set up a Financial controlling department in order to manage 10 funds of the company. The Department has been set up succcessfully and works on smoothly now.- Define the scope of my Department- Organize knowledge transfer with investment teams- Set up monitoring tools- Recruit and coach a financial controller- Lead cross-functional projects

In this job demanding a broad range of knowledge in Private Equity Products and good sense of coordination, I succeed to deliver timely answers or reports to clients with accuracy and professionalism. The scope of my work concerns all the 4 expertises of Ardian (Direct LBO Funds, Infrastructure, Private Debt and Fund of Funds). Here are some key elements of my daily work:- Provide quality reporting and answers to queries from highly sophisticated investors (Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Government Agencies, etc.)- Participate actively to the fundraising and due diligence of new investors (replies to DDQ/RFP/RFI, construction of the data parts in marketing set, interview with the prospects)- Calculate the Asset Under Management of the Company and manage the client database- Organize and participate to client events such as valuation conference call- Select adequate benchmark to funds managed by Ardian- Work on cross-functional projects

During 9 years, I worked two roles: investor relations and financial controlling for Private Equity funds (LBO, Infrastructure, Fund of funds and mandates), where I acquired solid experiences in Private Equity.

My role as financial controller is very similar to that of a FUND CFO. I worked closely with the investment team, legal, investor relations departments, as well as the fund administrators, banks and auditors, in order to manage the Fund from A to Z. During more than 3.5 years, I covered 5 funds, including private equity fund of funds, mandate funds and Direct LBO funds. In the meanwhile, I was the project leader of the private equity software solution for the middle office fund of funds. I began from scratch to build sophisticated calculation and reports by the software. Here are some main tasks I carried out:- Conduct private equity funds cash management: execute payments, receive distributions of the portfolio investments, propose and execute cash flows (capital calls, distributions, etc.) at investor level, establish distribution model of “Waterfall Calculation”- Prepare the valuation of the funds on a quarterly basis, analyze the change in valuation and present portfolio valuations orally during the valuation committee, composed of senior management- Construct, review, validate quarterly capital accounts, semi-annual management reports and financial statements of the funds- Participate to the structuring of new funds, review legal and marketing documents- Participate to the new investments process and liquidation of investment vehicles- Key user and project leader of software tool of the company for the Middle Office: coordinate with the IT team and the middle office team, design order book, determinate delivery schedule, coordinate inputs, design reports, test results, etc.

During 6 months stay with Amundi Asset Management (ex. SGAM), I discovered the world of asset management and managed periodical reporting for around 10 funds of different strategies: bonds, common shares, monetary, multi-strategy and alternative investments. I also participated in the migration of data via a new software tool. I was efficient, rigorous, reliable. I respected the deadlines and had a very good relationship with my colleagues. I was recommended for a position inside the group at the end of my internship but I declined for another opportunity within ARDIAN.

I spent 6 months with L’Oréal as the intern of the Travel Retail Prestige Department (Perfumes and derivative products of Giorgio Armani, Cacharel, Ralph Lauren, Viktor & Rolf). I worked on a variety of tasks and learned to be very rigorous in my work:- Make sales forecast and analyze the result of promotion- Write sales arguments for different airports and ferries and for different promotions- Visit Airport shops to collect on-site feedback of promotions- Organize internal launch meeting for new products- Marketing intelligence studies on the new launches in the market

This 6-month internship was my first working experience in France. My job consisted of extracting data from the Distributor Panel and Consumer Panel (two Nielsen's star panels) and conducting marketing reserach presentation to clients. I also attended monthly meeting with one key account Unilver (Home Care Division).

Teach French (as second foreign language) to college students. I managed to keep a high level of learning enthusiasm from the students and promoted the French Language and Culture.
