In partnership with the National Parks Service (NPS), the Community Outreach Team facilitated access to parklands for underserved local communities, leveraging team strengths to deliver meaningful programming. This position involves researching, planning, and promoting programs for participants of all ages and backgrounds, resulting in increased community engagement and participation in park activities. Additionally, it includes planning projects and scheduling future in-person recreational programs for community groups within our local National Parks, leading enrichment to communities across the Bay Area.

Collaborating with the Program Lead to curate engaging social media content, support workshop logistics, maintain databases, develop marketing materials, monitor trends, conduct research, and analyze metrics to enhance the visibility and engagement of CEI's initiatives among CCSF students.

As a Coffee Ambassador, I championed our mission to elevate and celebrate the craft of coffee making, ensuring uncompromised quality in every cup. I engaged with customers to provide exceptional service and education. I spearheaded data-driven marketing strategies, driving a 15% increase in monthly sales, and innovated operational enhancements to streamline processes and enhance customer experiences. Through my efforts, I contributed to a high-energy, collaborative environment that highlighted the essential role of coffee ambassadors.

The humanities is a branch of knowledge that is concerned with human beings and their culture and this knowledge gives us the ability to appreciate and understand the world we reside in. The work of the Center for Storytelling and PrisonPandemic strive to close the gap between underrepresented individuals, communities, and their untold stories to the public. These works are important to the Public Humanities because not only does this connect students and volunteers with meaningful hands on-experience to the world of humanistic production, but it also supplies and rallies interest from communities and institutions with more opportunities to shed light on these issues, which, in all, is important to the preservation of human history. One of my main tasks for the Center for Storytelling internship is to transcribe letters for the PrisonPandemic project. These letters are written by incarcerated individuals, their loved ones, and employees who work in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation facilities.Other than transcription work, I worked alongside with other interns to pitch, to organize, and to oversee the activities of Story for Storytelling to share stories from underrepresented voices to the public.

The Girl's Who Code Summer Immersion Program is a 7-week computer science course which teaches computing and programming skills to high school girls. The program covers topics related to computer from python to Arduino and robotics to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Aside from projects and lectures, there are also valuable lessons coming from field trips, guest speakers, and mentors in technology.
