Chinese local group company specialized in manufacturing OLED display screen for cell phone, watch auto industry.Position: Head of Group Supply Chain, Report to Group President.Whole supply chain management covering sourcing, purchasing, material and production planning, import/export and warehousing. Main activities include strategy setting and implementation, budget setting and control, cost saving, supply chain optimization, risk/crisis management, team construction and motivation.  Oversee manufacturing, quality and whole supply chain from sales order receiving to finish goods delivery. Set and monitor the performance of the plant against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and operating efficiency, quality, cost control, administration efficiency, legal compliance, inventory control, finished goods distribution. Key supplier and forwarder management. Responsible for meeting established operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards. Ensure ODMs procure materials to forecasted demand plans and communicate delivery schedules of all key parts. Monitor and implement the cost saving projects. NPI and EOL management. Ensure all new and ECN projects implemented accordingly. Review build-ship plans to ensure execution to standard lead time agreement and on time delivery. Lead process improvement in manufacturing. Review new projects progress regularly with sales and RD. Follow up actions plan. Call OTD and quality meeting to analyze root cause regularly and have QBR (quarterly business review with ODMs) quarterly. Implement incentive plan to increase productivity and shorten lead time. Control all the cost of material, labor and equipment. Work with Sales and finance to ensure customer satisfaction on financial standpoint.

Take charge of Qimonda China (5 legal entities) purchasing and low cost contry sourcing for Qimonda global. Oversee the process to select and manage key suppliers, including a comprehensive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process with monthly/quarterly supplier performance monitoring, supplier scorecards for top suppliers, supplier development and process/cost improvement  Reduce the raw materials cost on a year by year basis and be accountable for meeting annual targets. Research and analyze market intelligence data and trend for commodity markets, and make strategic recommendation to senior management on each category on timely purchases of raw materials. Develop category strategies and establish and maintain strategic relationships with raw material suppliers. Work jointly with Operations and other customer groups to develop Strategic Source Plans and ensure the financial benefits are included in the appropriate business plans.  internal/external cross-functional teams to achieve project/corporate objectives.Link Purchasing strategies to business objectives (including alignment of suppliers to business strategy). Negotiate and execute supply agreements with favorable terms to Qimonda/Gerad. Monitor and communicate supplier's financial performance. Lead, coordinate and facilitate the execution of strategies and goals by various

 Function covers material planning, material purchasing, production planning, transportation/forwarder management, supermarket warehouse and third party warehouse management, packing design, Bosch production system maintain (lean manufacturing). Lead Bosch lean manufacturing project (milk run delivery system, leveling planning, VMI..) Keep very close relationship with customers for sales order receiving, and arrange material planning, production planning and finish goods delivery. To improve the forecast accuracy and to avoid big production fluctuation, set up the customer ordering system and balance the production capability in off-season and midseason. Timely adjust customer’s order/requirement in the system. Daily monitor the production output including semi-finished and finish goods. Weekly control the inventory (on line, on way and warehouse), and monthly check the material moving (slow moving and dead moving handling). Keep the inventory in high turn over rate. Be familiar with SAP SD¬, MM and PP module, inventory control, supplier management, material management.  Specialized in KPI setting, premium freight and purchasing cost control.  Responsible for the set up of the new company including factory lease, license registration, factory renovation and line assembly initially.  To take charge of all sourcing/purchasing and logistics（material, production plan, forwarder management）matters finally.  To develop the global supply base for Gates global companies. Ensure the accuracy of material in –out data.  To trace the difference of production planning and real production output, then to have the countermeasure to meet our customer’s requirement. To reduce the forecast and real order difference, set up the ordering system, timely pull in /out the material and set up the safety stock for material and finished goods. Design the packaging to maximize warehouse space usage and truck or container space usage to reduce the cost.
