Perform simultaneous WAXS/SAXS measurements of novel precision polyolefines in a broad temperature range from 0 to 150 degree C. In this work; we focus on the unusual polymorphism transition and unusual size changes by real-time X-ray during slow heating. Compared to conventional SAXS/WAXD (Bruker Nanostar), synchrotron X-ray allows us to detect any quick (less than 1 sec) and small changes (as low as 0.2 Angstrom).

Perform Small-angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) experiments to test the phase-phase separation in linear-low-density-polyethylenes (LLDPE) with broad branch distributions in the temperature range from 25 to 200 degree.

Worked cross-functionally with different refinery staffs learning major refinery processing facilities, including atmospheric/vacuum distillation, FCC, etc.
