- Co-lead an organizational mission to pre-screen, test, evaluate, deploy and customize version control/collaboration system behind firewall.- Contribute to plan, evaluate, deploy, test, customize and managing statistical computational platform(Server cluster).- Work closely with both IT team and programmer/analysts to diagnose, locate and overcome technical difficulties that need interdisciplinary knowledge & experience.- Research relates to vascular access type and outcomes among ESRD patients using USRDS database.- Research relates to predict Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and Acute Kidney Disease(AKI) using Electronically Health Records(EMR) and geological based contextual data.(data from Veterans Affair database(VA), American Community Survey (ACS), U.S. Department OF Agriculture (USDA),U.S. Environmental Protection Agency(EPA))- Research relates to geographical distribution and hotpots identification of CKD and ESRD using CMS Medicare Clinformatics, Medicaid and etc.- Analysis and visualization for chapters in United States Renal Data System(USRDS) Annual Data Report.- Explorer, build and test data set that including measurements level data for each patient, track the change of key health status for more timely outcome prediction.- Setup, test, tune and compare performance of various machine learning algorithms and traditional statistical methods for patient outcome prediction.- Perform geospatial analysis and create visualization of the analysis result with both dynamic and static maps at State, County and Census-tract level.- Maintaining, updating and improving Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Surveillance System using CMS Medicare,Mediaid, SRTR, OPTUM Clinformatics data.

Teaching and preparing lessons to enhance student learning, I held various roles as a graduate assistant. Designated as 1 of the top 2 candidates to serve as an Instructor of Intro to Statistics, I guided 40 undergrads through the first stages of comprehension of statistical analysis. I also served as a consultant to professors of various departments as well as outside agents. These professionals would bring me data related to their project and research findings, and I would help them in the analysis and comprehension of the statistics as they related to specific goals. I loved applying my expertise to help others advance their own knowledge and statistical research.

In this role with this key organization, I conducted detailed analysis of reports, journal entries, and account statements to identify areas in need of improvement and heightened fraud security. I did find discrepancies, and collaborated with the management team to devise solutions that would lessen risks.Learning PWC’s internal system was entirely new to me, and I picked it up seamlessly. In fact, I was quickly able to navigate the program more fluently than others who had been with the organization for years! This is where my unique scope of technical and statistical knowledge come into play and really benefit an organization that wants someone to hit the ground running.

This role involved intense data collection for NASA-funded research focused on landscape ecology and ecosystem science—specifically global warming. I was a key contributor to the gathering, organization and presentation of data that led to the achievement of research data goals while managing highly time-sensitive observations.
