The research works I did focus on fast and robust quantum control and single variable control, which can solve many problems in experiment, and the application in the designing of broad-width retarder. Besides, the fast and robust control of two interacting spins is also studied. The main results are as following:Firstly, utilizing invariant theory based inverse engineering, I studied the fast and robust control of two interacting spins with Heisenberg or Ising interactions, designed inversely the driving magnetic fields for achieving fast spin flip or generating the entangled Bell state, and further optimized them with respect to the systematic errors and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya(DM) interaction. In particular, the designed protocols can suppress efficiently the unwanted transition induced by Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.Secondly, we proposed the single variable control of shortcuts to adiabaticity, based on inverse engineering, and also improved the fidelity with respect to the systematic errors by combining perturbation theory. Comparing with the previous one, this method can achieve the state transfer by only controlling one parameter, which has strong applied value in quantum dots, optical lattice, optical system and so forth. Thirdly, based on quantum optics analogy, we applied the technology with single variable into the designing of optical devices. By combining perturbation theory, we improved the stability of the system with respect to the input wavelength variations, which lead to the broad-width retarder. This method can be also applied to other analogous systems.
