In charge of Dev & Ops of OTVCloud, including online video platform, SDN/NFV, and big data.

1. For Video Cloud based on Http Live Streaming (HLS) of Apple, designed the whole producing, dispatching and playback mechanism, and implemented the transcoding and dispatch module. Meanwhile, did research on how to play back HLS media via RTSP on low profile Android devices.2. Re-structured and improved BesTV Content Management System (CMS) continuously, and made it ready for multi-screen video production, including media censorship, editing, transcoding, error-checking, publishing and backup. 3. Responsible for Business and Operation Support System of BesTV, which started from Dual-Authentication and Dual-Accounting from 2011, and becomes one versatile platform with two-layer structure, and is struggling for uniformed products, customers, and operation. 4. In charge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), listened carefully to every stakeholder, designed the whole structure, and began with the customer service center as the first step, which is been developing by outsourcing. 5. Took over and managed TV Pay platform，including requirement analysis, architecture design, project management, and business application.6. Cooperated with product manager for business workflow, clarified requirements, designed framework, and managed outsourcing for implementation.

1. Built up the whole developing and testing teams, and took charge of daily management2. Created product spec and feature docs based on marketing and sales requirements and feedbacks3. Organized discussions on software design and determined the final structure4. Coded for inter-process communications based on socket, MPEG de-multiplex and decoding modules, framework for video processing, and network management 5. Managed projects for ABS-CBN, OneWave and so on, identifying risks, allocating resource and resolving all kinds of problems.

1. Took charge of usual management of team, like team building, performance review, tech design, analysis on detailed requirements a） Built up OEM technical team, and then extended to four product lines: Image/photo, video transcoding, mobile application and media management. Also took over one team from other department, then managed to stabilize team members and stimulated them for new projects. b） Balanced members and projects between two offices, Shanghai and Hangzhou.c） Set up communication channels between Chinese teams and other offices in North American, learnt from them and resumed their products according to company strategy.d） Managed some important projects: allocated resource and controlled the progress. 2. Found out one suitable engineering process for the whole team, and then spread it to the whole office. a) Divided tasks into 3 categories: OEM, new product, and research, created different processes for each. So stakeholders, like sales, marketing, developing, and testing, had specific tasks, which created much better results.b) Gathered work data for projects, daily activities and bugs, tried to manage projects and team by data with help from consultants.3. Did research on new tech for products in futures, like Windows presentation foundation, Windows media foundation introduced by Windows Vista, UPNP and others.
