With over 17 years of work experience in biostatistics, I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to develop innovative and impactful therapies. As the Senior Director of Biostatistics at Sarepta Therapeutics, I lead the Biometrics team for the Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD) portfolio, which consists of multiple clinical programs. I am driven by the mission of transforming the lives of patients with unmet medical needs and collaborating with diverse and talented colleagues across the organization.In my current role, I am responsible for overseeing the biostatistical aspects of the LGMD gene therapy programs, from study design and protocol development to data analysis and regulatory submissions. I work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure the quality, validity, and integrity of the data and the statistical methods. I also mentor and coach my team members, and foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
