Current• CCRN, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certified• Work as an ECMO Specialist to manage ECMO circuit• Provide highly skilled nursing care including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring to patients in critical conditions at Medical ICU• Rapid Response Team member• Precept Orientee and practicum students • Advocate for patients and family regarding their concerns and health conditions• Serve as a voting member of the Clinical Shared Leadership Council to voice nurses’ concerns and help create a safe work environment • Function as a unit resource for performing ultrasound-guided IV insertion • Participate in multiple unit-based projects that aim for better patient outcomes• Reduced Foley catheter-related infection rate by auditing Foley indications and interventions• Gained the ability to quickly adapt to challenging situations and make decisions using critical thinking skills
