Sources of Variance in Teacher-rated Skills.- Employed cross-classified random effects models with HLM framework to determine the effects of three potential sources of variance over time in teacher ratings of the social–emotional skills of children: occasion, child, and teacher.Teacher-Student Relationships and Child Problem Behaviors: Comparisons between Children with and without Disabilities.- Explored the longitudinal, bidirectional associations between teacher–student relationships and child problem behaviors using auto-regressive across-lagged (transactional) model with SEM framework using Mplus.Development and validation of EMOtion TEaching Rating Scale (EMOTERS)- Involved in developing and validating this new rating scale and coding hundreds of videos to collect data after observer training, as part of an Institute of Education Sciences Goal 5 grant-funded project.Age of Acquisition and Second Language Proficiency: A Meta-Analytic Review- Performed a meta-analysis to find the moderators for the relationship between age of onset and second language proficiency.Psychometric Properties of the Chinese Behavior Problems Inventory-01 in Children and Adolescents with or at Risk for Intellectual Disabilities.- Translated a problem behavior inventory into Chinese and collected data from China- Used confirmatory factor analysis with SEM using SPSS AMOS to examine the psychometric properties for this Chinese-translated inventory.
