Although new to the workforce—having just received my Masters in Asian Studies from Florida State University with an above average 3.56 GPA—my advanced academic training and work ethic have fully prepared me to be a competent professional. A wide-ranging graduate education has taught me to approach and understand issues from several different angles. Combining analytic skills with creative problem solving abilities, I believe I can bring sound judgment and a knack for resourceful solutions to virtually any vocation. My classroom experience covers many different fields, many with direct practical relevance to the challenges facing today’s global society—e.g., International Affairs, International Trade, Religion, History, Urban Planning, and Food Security. For leisure, I enjoy reading literature and exploring the breathtaking beauty of nature. My family and I often spend our vacations doing outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and camping.
