Ximo Peris was initially trained as an architect before moving into architectural visualisation in 1997. He lived in Holland for 3 years, teaching at TU Delft and working at DPI Animation House before moving to London. On the year 2000 he joined Smoothe working on many large scale animation and film projects across the UK and worldwide. Most notably Ximo liaised with the London 2012 bid team, delivered the CGI, co-ordinating an extensive team to create imagery and film sequences that very simply, yet effectively communicated the Olympic vision to a global audience. From 2009 to 2012 Ximo worked at Crystal CG as a Creative Director as part of the team that delivered all digital content for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. During this period the team also produced animations for the winner FIFA world cup bids of Qatar 2018 and Russia 2022.During his garden leave period Ximo decided to fully dedicate his time to volunteering. This took him to INTECH planetarium, Goldsmiths Primary School charity project, Visit Britain, Ordnance Survey, Tim Leberecht's Business of Meaning lab and Visit Britain amongst other fantastic places.On March of 2013 Ximo started working as Youth Development Director for Milestone group.
