Dr. Zhou graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University (Ph.D. in Business Management, 2010) and currently is working as an associate professor at Shanghai Maritime University. Her academic interests cover transportation planning and management, port economy and logistics management. From 2004 to 2017, she participated in over 20 projects as principle member funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Ministry of Education of PRC. and port and logistics businesses. She has published and coauthored over 10 books and about 30 papers in International Journal of Simulation Modeling, Journal of Management Sciences in China, Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc., many of which had been indexed by SCI, SSCI, EI, CSSCI, ISTP and/or ISSHP.Besides research, Dr. Zhou participated in the education of graduate students at transportation engineering program at SMU.
