Personal banking business is one of the strategic priorities of Bank of China.As a Personal Finance and Operations Summer Analyst, Bella provided administrative and operational support to the department including senior supervisors, organized financial product transaction records in Excel to improve accuracy and firm-wide data accessibility. She also communicated with the supervisor to diagnose reasons for low application approval rate, discovered the loophole in credit card application procedure, and proposed and improved feedback mechanism.She also analyzed characteristics of applicants to advise local branches. This eventually improved monthly approval rate by 10%.
