The system implemented on the Hadoop cluster is scalable and allows to conduct retrieval in a collection of 10 million+ images.• Devised pairwise geometric matching for geometric verification in large-scale image retrieval. The proposed method redefines the state-of-art in terms of accuracy and speed.
