Research AssistantUniversity Of Regina Sep 2009 - 2013Regina, Sk, CanadaI concentrated on solvent-based heavy oil recovery processes during my PhD program and my research topics cover: convection-diffusion mass transfer, foamy oil flow, asphaltene precipitation, vapor extraction (VAPEX) and cyclic solven injection (CSI), post-CHOPS techniques, as well as analytical modeling and numerical simulation.In particular, I analyzed the FOAMY OIL FLOW under reservoir conditions, on the basis of which I proposed two NEW processes, dynamic solvent process (DSP) and gasflooding-assisted CSI (GA-CSI), to enhance the oil production rate of conventional VAPEX and CSI processes. Modeling results show that the oil rates of DSP and GACSI can be 1-3 and 2-4 times of the VAPEX and CSI, respectively. -

Moreover, I established a mathematical model for sand control and developed a custom-built simulator for well stimulation design.
