Xingsheng Xu received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2010. During his undergraduate study, he was a member of the Institute of Industrial Process Control’s Laboratory, which mainly dealt with the design and research of light flexible manipulator control systems. In 2013, he received his Master’s Degree in Engineering from University of Dayton. After that, he continued his Ph.D. study there. He was then working in Yaskawa Motoman Robotic Lab on a hyper redundant 9-DOF robotic arm. In 2020, he received his Ph.D. Degree in Engineering from University of Dayton. Later, he joined the plastic packaging industry with hands-on experience developing the organization’s Quality Management System to comply with ISO standards and leading the product testing lab to achieve professional quality engineering operations.
