*Monitor and account Jicarilla Apache Nation’s (JAN) oil and gas revenue, compile and analyze information from different sources, identify the potential problems and the causes of discrepancies between royalty payments and accounting records, request corrections to official accounting documents; coordinate and assist in JAN’s oil and gas audit.Major Projects• Co-design a new gas valuation method. Provide detailed calculation and analysis to sell the new valuation method to counterparties. Work closely with JAN’s attorneys to negotiate new agreement and proposal on gas royalty valuation. • Calculate the gas production value from over 300 wells belonging to EnerVest with 6methods. Perform stress tests on the gas value calculation.• Assist department director in enforcing the orders to perform issued by Minerals Management Service (MMS) on JAN’s leases with Conoco Philips.
