In charge of the BSP subsystem of a complex consumer multimedia, telematics device for the car. Responsible for the BSP subsystem requirements, stability, performance and day-to-day interaction with solution providers.

Overall responsibility for leading the design, implementation, system testing, certification and delivery to customer platforms of WiFi solutions and SDIO high speed bus driver. My work also included drivers for a multi-function SDIO ASIC design, an abstract messaging subsystem design and implementation, VoIP ASIC chipset testing and validation, Linux WiFi, USB drivers, hardware layer coding in DSP, Linux development setup( CVS repositories, toolchains, target kernels, root files systems, SIP server, multi-user development Linux host), Wifi and Bluetooth co-existence performance fine-tuning, power mode and roaming management of Marvell chipset based WiFi solutions. Devised software mechanisms to improve system performance and was the first author of two provisional patents and one of two patents is a pending standard application in USPTO and in Japan.

Responsible for BSP and other subsystem development for an Optical Long Haul Transponder product. My work included implementation of a proprietary, round-robin kernel on the optical cards using MPC750, the MPC750 bootstrap code, all device drivers, messaging protocols, remote consol, Access Security Enhanced Management and Fault Logging subsystems, NTP and OSPF integration and application layer implementation.

Responsibility included design and implementation of platform features for Cisco’s various optical products. My work included customizing VxWorks BSP for MPC8260, coding the access framework for an optical switch chipset, IP L2 switching chipset control, PPP design and OSPF configuration, TL1 commands.

Partook CDMA cell phone development. My work included bootstrap code for MSM3200, software upgrade and security lock features, Flash memory management, call processing, leading a team of five on specifying application API specifications.
