In this bank, I have been responsible for marketing our bank's financing products and services to existent and new clients. For one thing, products include wealth managements products such as fixed rate savings, bonds or stock pegged ones, and some kinds of insurance as well; for another, products also include loans to both retail and corporate clients especially small and medium size companies.

In this job I was dealing with non-profit government issues related to inviting foreign business and investment to Chongqing. This was a bureau established in November 2018, and I was sent to work for them by China Everbright Bank in January 2019. For this year, I helped arrange events in Guangdong province for twice. Our target guests were businessman who do business in Guangdong but they were born in Chongqing. Our goal was to invite them to invest back to Chongqing, establishing new companies. We also held events in Chongqing in the name of Chongqing municipal government, inviting foreign businessman and government officials from cities with good relations with Chongqing, like Dusseldorf of Germany and Turin of Italy, etc. For each business interested in branching in Chongqing, we would help it find proper locations and certain locating policies catered to their needs. For me, I once helped an American Internet company which sells cars online, set their Chinese tech team base in Chongqing; I also helped a tech company doing AI and IoT, get sydicate loans from multiple banks.

I majored in business and management.

I held a regular a talk salon gathering people together speaking English on certain topics every Friday night. For each activity, I would update the potential audience with the coming topic via posters in store and webpages on social media. I was also the hostess for each salon, warming up the atmosphere, getting everyone on board and talk. After each salon, I would outline what we had talked about plus our salon pictures taken by my colleague, as a post onto our store webpage, which was required by myself to do so instead of my boss. My efforts paid off during the two months I worked there, as we had an increasing number of customers coming for the salon on Friday nights; and due to that our store became more talked-about among English fans, thus the business of our store as whole was boosted as well.

Proofread reports on Information Security in China's Securities and Futures Market: in this work, other three interns and I worked as a team. It improved each of us in terms of teamwork as we each shared a portion of the report and got that translated into English and we had to ensure the consistency of the translated version therefore during the translating process we discussed on each portion and made adjustments accordingly.

I had an interesting yet tough experience working in this position. I received payment from customers by cash or debit/credit cards. It involves use of electronic scanners. Apart from that, I would count money at the every beginning of shifts to make sure the amount of money is correct and also there's adequate change. Except for the transaction itself, I was a decent cashier because I always greeted our customers with full smile and warm HELLOs. There was a time one customer even "tipped" me with a currency note from her country for the treatment she experienced from me!

I was responsible for keeping track of my students’ learning record so as to reinforce their knowledge. I would be giving the summary of each lesion to the students at the end of the class and answering their questions.
