Xin Ye Email and Phone Number

Xin currently works at cybersecurity team at Waymo, LLC. His technical expertise ranges from security engineering in Controller Area Network message authentication, in-vehicle key management system, security design for Over the Air Software Update and diagnostics authentication protocol. He used to work in Ford Motor Company as a cybersecurity technical specialist. He was awarded Henry Ford Technology Award in 2017 and held multiple patents in automotive cybersecurity. Xin earned his Ph.D. at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with an emphasis in Applied Cryptography and Security Evaluation for Embedded Crypto Systems. He served as program committee for the workshop of Embedded Security in Cars (ESCAR) and Cyber Physical System Security (CPSS). Xin is also interested in side channel analysis, signal processing, and statistical modeling. He has solid background in Mathematics and has been teaching college level calculus.
