I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, expected to graduate in May 2026. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong foundation in mechanical design, reinforced by hands-on project experience in both academic and professional settings.During my recent internship at General Electric Aerospace, I honed my skills in quality control and material strength analysis while contributing to 3D modeling and project management efforts. My work involved tackling a nonconformance case from a manufacturer, where I developed a keen eye for detail and compliance with aerospace standards. Additionally, my experience as a Design Assistant at 9-Town Design Studio, furthered my understanding of the design process, from material management to client engagement.Beyond the classroom and workplace, I am actively involved in leadership roles, such as serving as VP of the Internal Department for the Chinese Student Scholar Association (CMUCSSA), where I organize events that foster community and cultural exchange. My skills in MATLAB, SolidWorks, Ansys, Python, and more enable me to approach challenges with a well-rounded perspective.I am passionate about combining my technical expertise with innovative design to create practical, user-centered solutions, whether in the context of aerospace, consumer products, or beyond.
