I am a graduate engineer working at the SA Mine Waste team of WSP. My primary responsibility involves design, plan, organise and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects such as tailings storage facilities (dams), trenches and other structures; analyse the likely behaviour of soil and rock when placed under pressure by proposed structures and design structural foundations; analyse the statical properties of all types of structures and test the behaviour and durability of materials used in their construction; plan and oversee onsite investigations for soil and rock characteristics; and estimate and monitor the construction costs of projects.I am also a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Adelaide under the supervision of Professor Mark Jaksa and Drs. An Deng and Fereydoon Pooya Nejad. I graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2018 with an Honours degree in Civil & Structural Engineering. I am a hardworking individual with well-equipped with knowledge in civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering. I possess well-trained working skills in professional environments, including the skills of professional report writing, technical presentation, and verbal communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I am community-minded with extensive experience working as young engineer representative on the committee panel in the Australian Geomechanics Society. I am a current committee member, and the Chair, of the SA/NT Chapter Committee of the Australian Geomechanics Society. During my studying, I worked as part-time assistant engineer in the industry and teaching assistant in the university.
