Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF) in the lab of Dr. Doo-Sup Choi. Primary project involved investigating the gender-specific effects of circadian disruption in ENT1-null mice, and studying real-time circadian activity during constant light and its effect on alcohol consumption. Secondary project involved correlating GLT1 expression with glutamate levels in the mPFC, striatum, and HPC brain regions in response to chronic ethanol exposure and withdrawal.
