About Elliott Leigh
I'm an actor, writer & visual artist. I've done TV, commercials and live theatre as an actor.As a visual artist I produce grassroots projects; especially with those who are marginalised in society - young people, offenders, people experiencing "mental illness," ethnic groups & anyone unheard.I have professional skills in videography, video editing & graphic design. As well as concept writing and producing films, fundraising bids & delivering community projects. I also facilitate workshops in creativity, visualisation & healing.Artistic themes of interest: identity, folklore, the Bible, mind & imagery, dreams, methods of healing & tribalism. After studying bible in Jerusalem and postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths film school (plus a BSc in psychology), I studied acting under Steven Berkoff.Since then, I have produced many media projects - working with the London Film Museum, the Bishopsgate Institute & the Jewish Museum London. I enjoy putting all the complex pieces together to deliver a project successfully.I have also produced a vast portfolio of film commissions for humanistic causes such as the Holocaust Survivors Centre, One Voice peace movement & the National Youth Theatre.Working with the Movieum movie museum from 2007+, I produced movie exhibition content featuring interviews with key British film professionals, mentored by SFX master Bob Keen.I also worked with 1000s of visiting students in movie making workshops over 5 years of programs.Another niche was rehab arts projects with young criminals through local justice programs, working with the police, social services and therapists.More recently, as an actor I have been seen on Israeli TV in "Ramzor" plus in an Ikea commercial with over 500k hits with the renowned comedian Yuval Semo.
