I work in admissions for incoming freshmen from eighth grade. I communicated via phone and e-mail to representatives of the elementary schools from where most of the applicants came. While many were quick to reach out to the school, there were still many things that had to be done. I helped organize the shadow days (days where the eighth grade students followed the high school students around to get a feel about what a day in the life of an Alcott student entailed), open house gatherings, as well as helping with student organizations in my free time.
