As a strategist, I’m focused on driving opportunities for global diverse communities. Applying my experience in strategy, branding, project management, and customer engagement, I help companies grow.I’m currently advising startups founded by women of color, helping them overcome challenges related to branding, e-commerce sales, and scaling. Prior to founding x+o consulting, I worked with several fashion and beauty startups as an MBA candidate, addressing foundational issues that most new businesses face. Immediately after graduating, I gained first-hand experience in growing a brand as the Interim Chief Operating Officer of a social enterprise fashion company. As an Asset Manager and Strategist at Morgan Stanley for 10+ years, I’ve served in roles that helped create economic development opportunities for underrepresented communities across the U.S. I come from a family of creatives. My mother and grandmother are both talented seamstresses and didn’t have the chance to pursue their business aspirations. Despite this, they exposed me to the balance of juggling their craft as a side hustle while working pink-collar jobs. Seeing the drive and intensity required to grow a business first-hand inspires to me help brands achieve their goals.
