Andreas holds a PhD from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) since May 2020. He received his BSc / MSc in Computer & Informatics Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece 2002. He is a Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Logisoft Computer Systems. He held previous positions at the same company as Junior Software Developer (2001-2003), Senior Software Developer (2003-2006), Manager of the R&D Department (2006-2008), and Manager of the Business Applications Department (2008-2011). He has been a project manager and software developer on several projects that are currently on the market. As an External Research Associate, he has also been involved in research projects at the University of Cyprus and the European University. Since 2011, Andreas has been a research associate and member of the CUT's Software Engineering and Intelligent Information Systems (SEIIS) research lab, involved in proposal writing, student supervision, and working on European and national projects. Since he obtained his PhD, he has been delivering courses as a visiting lecturer at CUT and Frederick University. His research interests focus on software engineering in cloud-based environments, artificial and computational intelligence in decision support systems (DSS), and the use of generative AI in learning programming languages.
