Driven mechanical engineering CPI (candidate to the engineering profession) with experience in stress analysis, mass properties, and product development. Here are some examples of my work:•Development of a tool using Excel and VBA programming to compute the theoretical height of the centers of gravity of buses and determine the influence of each system on the overall mass and center of gravity of the vehicle. The success of this project resulted in cost savings by providing a substitute to the costly experimental measurements. The tool also made it possible to determine the CG height of more complicated vehicles for which experimental measurements were not possible.•FEA analysis of a bench vise in various loading cases to evaluate the chosen failure criteria. The analysis included proposing various design changes to increase the safety factor in regions of high stress, and to reduce the cost and weight of the vise.Technical skills: programming (VBA, Python, and C++, CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia), FEA (Ansys, Nastran)My strong analytical skills, work ethic, and resolve drive me to succeed in the challenging projects I undertake. I love working in a team with other innovative engineers to solve important technical problems.
