Xscapeartistry – for Gen X travellers and travel wannabesAlarm, coffee, traffic, 8-10 hours of meetings, deadlines, email, computer screens and non stop calls and interruptions. Traffic, organise dinner, kids homework, bed. Repeat.If you’re a Gen X-er, this routine might sound familiar.These years are our prime years. We’re often achieving milestone in our careers, family lives and finances. We’re busy balancing work and family, paying of mortgages and achieving the goals we had in our 20s and 30s. We’re wiser, wealthier and more confident in our own skin – and we’re still young enough to have some fun!Maybe we can’t backpack around South East Asia for six months, but hey – who wants to eat noodles in a dorm room anyway? We can, maybe, get away for some short breaks to live outside of our daily schedules and responsibilities.Lets pretend we’re 25, and live in the moment – even if it’s just for a week or two.
